Live tech conferencing is back big time with Infobip Shift

Live conferencing in tech got back big time, with more than 3000 people attending last week's Infobip Shift developer conference held in Zadar, Croatia, at the Kresimir Cosic sports hall. Another 10 000 people connected virtually; it was the biggest gathering of developers in SE Europe this year.

Infobip CTO Izabel Jelenic and Shift founder Ivan Burazin gave opening speeches at the tenth jubilee edition of the conference, which was bigger than any Shift to date, with a visitor experience taken to a new level.

Following the decision to merge the Shift Conference with Infobip’s DevDays event – each previously held separately and in different locations, Infobip Shift was held as a joint tech event in a new location, and has attracted visitors from Croatia and a number of European countries.

Around 60 renowned speakers from companies such as Microsoft, Google, Adobe and many others took the floor across 4 stages, each dedicated to specific talk tracks. Workshops and startup showcase took place, with the large outdoor space known as ‘The Garden’ functioning as a setting for conversations, networking and business meetings.
